Before you start
Open the builder at /websites/builder. It is a seven-step wizard. You can jump between steps using the numbered stepper at the top, and your work stays in the wizard until you generate a preview.
The seven steps
- 1Industry & plan — pick your industry (Photography, DJ & Events, Salon & Spa, Fitness, or Home Services) and a plan (Starter, Pro, or Full). We pre-fill services and packages proven for that industry.
- 2Business basics — enter your business name, tagline, location, and public contact details, plus your own email for the preview link and follow-up.
- 3Look & feel — choose one of five themes, light or dark mode, and an optional accent color.
- 4Services & packages — edit, add, or remove the pre-filled services and priced packages. Mark one package "most popular".
- 5Photos — enter a keyword so your preview auto-fills tasteful stock placeholders; your real photos replace them on go-live.
- 6AI assistant — connect your own AI key now, or choose "Add it later". This is bring-your-own-key: usage is billed to your account, never ours.
- 7Review & generate — check the summary, then generate a preview or hand it over to be finished for you.
Two ways to finish
Build my site for approval generates a live, watermarked preview at your own private link (/s/your-id). Click around, share it, and pay to go live when you are happy.
Submit for custom build saves the same draft and sends it to the BITS team as a tagged lead so we finish it for you. You can still open the starting-point preview any time.
What you need to generate a preview
You only need a business name and your email to generate a preview. Everything else is optional and editable later. Preview content is clearly labeled sample content, and nothing is charged until you approve and choose to go live.
